Very good Hugh, but the image he processed has a lot of `halo` around the building, which is down to the `Light Smoothing` needing adjusted more ... but I may be completely wrong about this!

I sometimes process for no halos, and sometimes just let them happen. In this case, there was no intent to make the image look 'normal', so I didn't consider halos at all.

I didn`t realise it was your image Hugh ... point taken if you "sometimes just let them happen" only making an observation. Wink It`s just that I was critiqued by a few peeps for one of my images that had some halo(ing) on another forum, so I have tried to aviod it if at all possible ... not criticizing you in any way! Smile

No problem. If we were always trying to make images look 'normal', it would be valid criticism. One of the things I'm seeing, and sites such as this one help, is an acceptance of HDR as an art form in it's own right.
