Hello all,

One of my first images with the D3x - I do love it so.....

D3x, 28-70 f/2.8, 5 images, 1 stop intervals, -.7 eV Exposure Compensation, aligned in CS4, HDR and Tone Mapped in PhotoMatix, final processing in CS4.

I really like it except:

The reflection in the glass of the door is distracting, because you see the lower half of someone inside the shop that is cut off by a reflection from the street. Consider using a polarizer when dealing with reflective surfaces, even with HDR.

Here is a good article on the use of polarizers with HDR from Ferrell McCollough's blog (the author of a great book on HDR)

Great job, Hugh! Just a suggestion: I've noticed that most outdoor heavily-tweaked HDRs have an overall blue hue. I might consider toning down the blue with selective color removal in PS. Just my $.02...
