The dreaded Right-Click Empty The dreaded Right-Click

Post by SpiffyPix 2009-03-04, 15:44

Hi All -

I would like to hear everyone's feedback regarding the fact that I have disabled the right-mouse-click on this site. The reason I did it was to make it a little more difficult for people to download the images that we've all uploaded. Does it have a negative impact on your viewing experience on this site in any way? Please let me know and I'll take all feedback into consideration.

thanks...

Melanie

I don't like it because I'm used to opening up several sub-topics and threads in firefox but now I must click into one, read it, back out then go to the next which takes up more time. I know it's not a life or death thing but I prefer to be able to add simplicity to my internet surfing.

It makes it a bit harder to post image links, bearable but I have to remember to Ctrl-V instead of right-click paste, rough for a man my age LOL ... Now that I've read what I wrote, nevermind, the gains probably outway the costs. Thanks, Paul

Ooh I don't like that.
I'm a multi-tabber, the right click is automatic for me Sad

Edit: aagh I use right click more than I thought. I've had the message pop up 5 times already.

The dreaded Right-Click Empty What am I doing wrong?

Post by HDArtist 2009-03-08, 03:34

Maybe someone could give us a new step-by-step instruction for posting hosted images, without having the option to right-click. I tried it several times using ctrl-V but every time I end up getting a thumbnail version of my image.

The dreaded Right-Click Empty keep right click

Post by somewhereinusa 2009-03-11, 05:54

There are a few of of us who still have no choice but to have dial-up. If it weren't for right click, I would spend ALL of my time waiting for pages to open.
