It's SNOWING

Yeah so what you might say. It's snowing all over the UK at the moment and the country is grinding to a halt....

Well to put it in perspective. I live 800 metres from the sea. We don't get snow. The last time we did it was 1999. The time before that 1991.

There's about 4 inches (10 cm for our continental friends) already, sky looks absolutely full of it and it's supposed to be hitting us really strongly about midnight according to the weathermen. Long may it continue. Tomorrow I'm off out with the camera, I just won't be able to get into work, the roads will all be blocked.

Damn. I work from home....

Another odd winter... we just got a little over 12 inches of snow in less than 24 hours a week ago, largest amount in 13 years here.

I'm sick of snow, and cold weather. I need a beach!!

I hear ya 10mega and Mark, Im up here in NW In we get the lake effect snow! some more heading our way this afternoon, nothing worse than old dirty snow....is new snow to cover the dirty snow.
